Kayla and David are one of my amazing Spring 2024 couples, and are tying the knot at the beautiful Barn South in Talmo. For the engagement photos, we ventured to one of my favorite spots in Atlanta, The Candler Hotel. This historic building has a stunning exterior and is the perfect backdrop for a mix timeless and modern photographs.
One of the reasons I offer engagement sessions in my wedding packages when you book with CSP, is to provide you with a chance to not only have uniformity with your engagement and wedding photos, but to also get more comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. I approach each session with a unique approach, as each couple is different, but I always make sure to let my couples know you can relax and trust that I will bring your vision to life! My best piece of advice if you are new to having professional photos done, is to pick a photographer’s whose work you not only love, but also that you connect with on a deeper level. Your wedding day will run infinitely smoothly if you connect with your photo/video team (and your other vendors in general). These two were a breath of fresh air, and made my job so fun, as they had an exact vision in their mind while still letting me have creative control. Cannot wait to capture their wedding day so soon!
This session was composed of both an outdoor location, and an indoor setting in a beautiful natural light studio. Studios are a perfect place for engagement photos as they offer a classic and chic backdrop that allows for a multitude of posing prompts.
